Microscopic Fungal Spore Identification

January 20, 2012 - River North Environmental Testing, Inc. (RNET) is adding fungal (or mold) identification to their popular asbestos testing services. Brandy Howard recently took the "Introduction to Mycology: Mold in Buildings" course at the McCrone Research Instutite in Chicago, IL and has started participation in the AIHA's EMPAT Fungal Direct Exam Program. The laboratory is expected to be EMPAT Profiecent by mid-2012 and is excited to offer non-viable airborne spore analysis and direct exam of tape/bulk mold samples to its clients. TEM now NVLAP Accredited

August 17, 2010 - River North Environmental Testing, Inc. (RNET) is now one of only three labs in the state of Colorado to participate in the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for Airborne Asbestos Analysis by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). RNET is excited to add this service to its accredited bulk asbestos by Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) lab services.
