Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
In 2008, River North Environmental Testing, Inc. (RNET) acquired a Hitachi 600-AB model TEM. It took a while to plan, organize, and prepare the lab, but as of August 2010, the lab is now prepared to start reading AHERA clearance and other Airborne Asbestos Samples!
RNET's TEM Lab offers the following methods for analysis:
- AHERA (40 CFR 763)
- Presence or Absence
- NIOSH 7402
- ISO 13012
- ASTM Method D6281
